1.7.1 TrueNas

TrueNas is by far one of the most famous NAS systems out there. It is all open source and offers next to its NAS WebGui also a workflow of directly deploying docker applications from their WebGui. However, it is not just one click and deploy you do need to have some understanding of docker compose files, volumes, ports etc. On top of that you need to learn the way TrueNas handles app deployments. But hey, this could be your thing who knows ;) However in this chapter we will purely explain how to set it up as a NAS, NFS shares, Notifications and how it will handle backups for us.
