3. OpenWrt Network

In this book we describe how you can setup an OpenWrt Network. This is for light weight use, which can be installed on many consumer grade routers that you might already have in your home. Although less powerful compared to OPNSense it is still a great option if you don't have an x86 mini-pc laying around ;)

Finally, it also has great Wifi options s.t you can have a router and wap in 1 device instead of buying a dedicated WAP (which is recommended though ;)).
