1. Soccer Player
My dear love! yes I mean it, no jokes ;) As you might have noticed this is a photo book that I have made for you that encapsulates most of our story. Yes, the present took a long time to arrive, because well yeah it took some time to collect everything together and write down some stories with the pictures. I hope you forgive me, I am sorry, et spiet mie in Frisian
So how did this whole story start ? Yes I don't really have pictures from our first meeting. You basically went partying with Brooke and I have one picture from that night! Which is this one ;) You hanging out with some old men, without realizing you would meet a young guy soon after. I was in London as a pit stop to surprise my parents with my brother and just by coincidence I met you in Oneils in London city baby.
I was standing in front of the bar with your in front of me. You turned around and your opening line was straight up: "Are you a soccer player" ? Yeah, we did not look at each other for some time, no eye contact had been made yet, really nothing. It was just a split second you turning around and dropped that line. I was a bit shocked of course but yeah sorry I am no soccer player. Ohhwell just because you are a tall glass of water she thought ;).
The evening continued and Maurcie, Bogdan and I kept interacting with you and Brooke for some reason. Also not knowing at all that Brooke already had a boyfriend. We thought you were both single. But whatever, we kept talking and you were wild to me. You kept touching me all over the place. I kept my sarcasm with me, played with you and tried to tease you all the time. Then for a couple of moments we were talking really close to each other. Our noses were basically touching but we were not kissing. This kept on and on for some time.
But then at some moment I was like fuck it, I am going to kiss this girl. Yes, it was a big deal for me, since as you know you were the first kill I kissed after my ex. I was totally ready to go and take the next step and go to your hotel or to my friends place. Unfortunately, this both did not work. There was basically not private space anywhere so, there we were. You asked for my number and my first response was well I have a chat app that you most likely don't have anyways. And ohhhh boyyyy she did have Signal ahah!! Was definitely not expecting that. Just that I was expecting that you were a meat eater, smoker and were a Trump fan haha. But well I as wrong and wrong haha. So yeahh, I give my number and you needed to check if it was legit or not. Because you thought I might give you the wrong number in purpose. But I did not ;) So in that moment it was bye bye and we went our separate ways. With me saying the famous sentence that you still mention to me all the time
"I won't go to the USA any time soon, so this won' work" --->> boy was so wrong ahha
The next morning I woke up to go into a bus together with my little brother to the airport. But in the bus I texted you, because yes secretly I was still really curious in you. So we texted and texted while I was going to surprise my parents. So all the surprise happens, we hitchhike to there and eventually I continue my trip hitchhiking to Venice in Italy. At this moment you were in Spain enjoying your time in Europe. But you said, if you change your flight to London then I will organize a hotel for us.
We kept flirting and I was like, what the hell, why not let's do it. So low and behold we were meeting up in London again. Also, pretty cool and courageous from you to meet up with a random Frisian man again in London. So we met at a small bar where she ordered her Old fashioned and I don't even remember what I ordered. We started chatting and flirting but we both had this urge to do something different than just "drinking tea" ;) So off we went heading to hotel in the center of London
Once, arrived the girl bringing us to the room was like..sooooo...what are you guys going to do here.....??? well what do you expect hahaha!!! So off we went having the best time of our lives! Yess, you really impressed me with things I had not seen before yet wauwwwww. Now, next to being rabbits I also loved to talk with you, go to have dinners, and yes I was still vegan hahah!! only when eating pizza with you I was ordering the pepperoni for the experience haha.
Those 3 days definitely made a dent in my heart and in yours as well I think. Otherwise the girl that says I never cry was not crying when we were laying in bed and on the day of goodbye. Finally, I left back to the Netherlands with mixed feelings. I super liked this girl, but at the same time she lives so far away. But you intrigued me enough to keep calling you back I think almost every day after the London trip ;)
At some moment you were like, I really want to see you and I cannot continue like this. You have to come to the USA. It was not really an ultimatum but it sure felt a bit like that for me haha. So yes...I did not buy the ticket and was flying out to the USA on ....
Now, from this moment on, I we actually started to make lots of pictures from our love life. So the photo book will now actually start with stories and pictures from us. I hope you enjoy this small token of my love for you and I hope to create lots and lots of more memories with you.
