Ente unlike Immich and Photoprism is an E2EE private media application. This makes it stand out, since it allows you to store your private media on your friends/families server without worrying that your friend has access to your media. On top of that Ente also uses machine learning locally on each device the app is installed on. Finally, it allows for social graphs s.t your friends and family can share albums and comments and likes on your media.
